Well, I am seriously thinking of doing a good ole Metis Jig!!!

Just got back from seeing the doctor – the latest test on Friday morning showed Nothing – Zilch, Nada, Zero!!

YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!

On the walk home from the doctor’s office – I had to keep myself from hopping and jumping…..didn’t want to shock people.

He’s given me a prescription to have some of the latest drugs on hand, just in case and in a month I’ll go do another deposit at the lab.

For 2 years, I’ve been struggling with this and here it takes one doctor who is aggressive to handle it!! Makes you wonder doesn’t it! Even the urologist (sp) said I’d always have something show up because of the radiation 6 years ago…….where is he now!! I feel like writing him a letter – will go have a nap and think about it first.

Have 30 more cards to make for the Potter box of cards……having fun making ones especially for all them. Hey, I even get to make one for myself……wonder what I should make???

I went to bed early last nite – couldn’t stand listening to Gary Bettman (NHL commissioner) on the news! There is something about that weasel that irks me the wrong way – I don’t trust him all. DH says I should wait until tonite to listen to Goodenow (president of the NHLPA) before deciding anything……..but right from the day weasel started I didn’t like him so I don’t think I’ll be changing my mind anytime soon!! I just want HOCKEY back!!!

Bowling here in Morse starts on the 4th of October……..we’ll have to check it out once we are back from Wisconsin. Yep – we are going to Denmark, Wisconsin which is just outside Green Bay so I can take a workshop with Pamela Allen (a quilt artist that I’ve wanted to take a workshop from for 2 years). It’ll be our holiday for the year.

Anyway, I am just so excited……..

Finally – here I am……..sorry everyone about not writing here for awhile.

Just had my 6 year cancer checkup last Tuesday – everything is great and I don’t have to go back to the Cancer Clinic, I can get regular checkups with my own doctor. Everyone at the clinic has been so great, will miss seeing them but won’t miss the long drive!

Now, if only this rare bacteria that I have will go away – should find out this week. Haven’t felt anything in my kidney/bladder area for a few days so that is a good thing!

My “Sedna, Inuit Goddess of the Sea” piece for the Myths & Legends challenge was finished on time. Took it to Edmonton so Susan and Jody could see it in person. I am really pleased with it and I enjoyed the whole process working on it. The online photos should be up soon….I’ll let you all know when and where.

Now, I need to get busy working on the Bag of Stuff challenge piece….the main part is cut out and I hope to piece it all together this week, then the playing will begin – the embellishing. With this piece and my “Sedna” piece, I start with a rough sketch and then just go with what it says to do…..

I have become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator – thought I could maybe make some monies while enjoying the stamping part. If any of you are interested, just email.

I decided to make my SIL a box full of cards for all the Potter birthdays….without any new ones – babies and/or spouses there are 52 already. I want to get them all made for early November, as her birthday is November but there are 3 other birthdays….so instead of her going out and buying cards each month, she can just pick from the variety I’ll put in for each month. Then, next October I’ll send her another package for the next year. So, I’ve been doing a few each day…..so many ideas.

Tomorrow is Michael’s 28th birthday – man, where did all those years go? I forgot to give him his birthday when we saw him this past week…will have to mail it tomorrow and call.

Had a nice visit with Carrie and Neil when they came here for the long weekend, then we stayed with them in Edmonton. We made them go with us to see the petroglyphs at St. Victor and Castle Butte near Coronach. I could have stay many hours, but the rest weren’t too interested. Sitting on top of the hill at the petroglyphs is totally amazing….must bring binoculars next time as I’m sure you could see Regina from there!!

I took lots of digital pictures of Castle Butte – so one of these days I’m going to spend time playing with them in Photoshop….did one while Carrie was here and I love the results – now to try to portrait that on fabric!

Ohhhhh – I need more hours in the days!!!
