Melting…

March 24, 2004

Wow – already received pics of Jill’s wedding. She looks like she has the twinkle in her eyes back!!

Have to go to the doctor again this afternoon – I am so tired of having to take those antibiotics and forking out $3.50 for each pill is starting to play havoc with our budget! Maybe, just maybe this last bout has worked!!

Looks like spring is here – lots of melting going on. We can’t get into our garage without rubber boots as the doorway has a huge puddle. It brings back memories of our son, Michael, whenever he saw a puddle – he had to go thru it. Even tho, he never knew how deep – it had to be tried. For awhile each spring he lived in his rubber boots – we’d have to hide them on him and the toes were rounded out so you couldn’t tell which was right or left foot. My Dad used to say, “Those are the only feet he’s got!” when I’d ask Michael to put them on the right feet at least……!!!

This morning, I have a darn paper cut right along side my index finger nail and it’s a pain to type……. guess I should be like someone else in this house and just use one finger to type!!

The new issue of Quilting Arts magazine arrived in my mailbox yesterday and WOW – lots of great articles and will be so hard to concentrate without trying some of the ideas in there. Will have find out how much that water soluble fabric is????

Still doing some sorting (purging) and will be listing more stuff on ebay later this week……I have decided to ask the Western Retreat if they’d take some of my UFOs, finish them and donate them to Quilts for Cops. Or send to Florence for the Border Quilters (Alsask and Oyen) to finish for the local friendship quilts they give out. I’ll see how many there are – there’s probably enough to keep both busy!! LOL
