This past summer, my sister & her family had to move out of the place they were renting so that a Hallmark movie could be filmed – A Dog Named Christmas. Middle of summer near Regina, Sk……so they had to fake the snow, take all the leaves off the trees & stunt the grass. This movie is based on the book of the same name by Greg Kincaid.
CBS is showing it on Sunday Nov. 29th at 9 pm……
This is a photo of the house all fixed up, painted & decorated for the movie. I would have loved to sit on that front porch – I had stayed there several times & it wasn’t like this!!!
Its going to be so fun to watch the movie & see the whole yard including the barn in the movie.

Thank you so much for telling us to watch the movie Dale. I would never had watched it if you hadn’t given us the heads up! It was wonderful, I laughed & cried all at the same time. Hallmark sure knows how to tug on your heartstrings eh?
What a beautiful place Lori lives, lucky girl!
WOW that was a touching movie and talk about an awesome house!!! And yep I recognized the red barn from my trip out west. I sure hope they did not hurt the trees or grass faking the seasons though.
Thanks for the ‘head’s up’ on this movie…….had to chuckle when they said it was in ‘Kansas’!!!!!……It was a great movie, but then again, I am a real sucker for any Hallmark movies!!!!
Thank you for giving us the info so we could watch
