Clutter is Energy

And, its ENERGY I need for other things!

I’m getting real here and being authentic! This past year, I have been talking one way and yet, there is all this clutter (products & supplies I don’t use) so its like I’m saying one thing yet doing another….

Clutter is not just items around our home but also in our minds. That is another reason that I journal – clears that clutter from my brain and this past week, I have been concentrating on clearing the clutter on the second storey of our house (mainly my studio and stash room).

WHY you ask?

Clutter is ENERGY and I want that energy to be used for:

  • growing my business,
  • allowing the abundance that I have been asking for,ClutterStamps
  • allowing the dreams & goals I have to be achieved

I was inspired when I heard there is a Community Garage Sale at the Curling Rink in Morse (here in town) on Sunday, May 4th (11 am to 4pm) and I could rent a table or donate for them to sell.

I have been sorting out the drawers of the Iris containers for the past year and now have loads ready to priced and sold.

The more I have been clearing, the more I have been enjoying seeing things I hadn’t seen for ages or even being inspired to create something with the items. And, making the decision that if I haven’t seen or used something for the past year….it doesn’t need to live here!

Do I really need 6 packages of black rickrack when I have only used half a package in the last year?

I wrote THIS post awhile ago about why I think we save everything! We, as in our family! I have worked hard on the mental clutter in my life and am FINALLY at the point where I can see the importance of Clearing Clutter around me. CLUTTER IS ENERGY!  I want that excess energy for building my business more, for creating the space for growing that business and all that that encompasses.

Part of the clearing of clutter around me is reminding myself of the LOVE or FEAR rule.

We either love them. Or we fear letting them go. We cherish them and know they have value to us. Or we fear that we’ll need them someday. We fear that we wasted our money on them. We fear what others will think if we let them go. We even fear making the decision to release our mishaps or mistakes, so we don’t make any decision. Instead we hold onto stuff out of guilt.
Love is the only reason to do anything. If you don’t love it, toss it. Give it away. Your abundance and energy will increase when you begin to live by love and not by fear.

If we can clear some of that clutter, there will be more energy left for those important tasks we want to work on – towards our dreams/goals. How is YOUR Clutter ENERGY?

  1. Oh I hear you, Dale. I’ve been following an intensive decluttering process over the last year or so.
I keep digging deeper each time through my purging and finding more, more, more to let go. I do feel lighter and more energetic and less burdened mentally!
    Good luck with your sale!
