Day 1 of my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project & a reminder, my theme is: I’m a scavenger!
I took all the receipts from my tote bag when unpacking for my recent trip. I glued them down to the first page with a glue stick. I then coloured the page with a blue watercolor pencil and then used my waterbrush to move the colour around.
The shiny paper is the cover to a chocolate mint we got with the bill for supper Wednesday night. What goes with shiny? And, is a scavenger…..a CROW!!!
I have a line drawing from a very old colouring book (found at the thrift store)….I bought it specifically for the crow!!! LOL
I used a black Sharpie to fill in the crow. I will continue to colour it in until the colour is more even….is still soaking in.
