Day 12 of “Share A Heart” challenge  (You can read more details about the challenge on THIS post) is another One Layer Heart card.  Send it to someone who moved into a new place.

For today’s card, I went to 4″ X 8.5″ size – this will fit into a normal business envelope (4.5 X 9 inch).    I used the only border punch I have on the edge.  You can for sure make this card without punching the edge, you could use a decorative scissors or leave plain.

I carved the 2 different heart stamps for this week.  I hand drew onto the carving rubber and wasn’t worried about them being exactly symmetrical.  I wanted it to look homemade with LOVE!12FebShareAHeart2

After stamping the hearts onto the card, instead of letting the red ink dry, I added clear embossing powder to each heart and then used a heat tool.  I used a sponge to lightly sponge white ink all around the hearts – wiped off any that was on the embossed heart.
