By taking workshops – we GROW!!!
Late December 2012, Jennifer Lee, announced that her workshop “Right Brain Business Plan” would be online at Creative LIVE. I signed up right away as I’ve had her book and the opportunity to work through it with her online would be a BONUS!
The 3 day workshop was online this past weekend, I had blocked off the time on my calendar and it was so TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
I had read through the book and picked out a few things that worked for me, didn’t get too involved in it all but now I know that I should have. WOW!
On Friday, we did our visual collage….we, first, picked out images that spoke to us from magazines (like any Vision Board) and I found words as well.
I used file folders to make my flip out folder.
We worked on our Values, and then Passion & Purpose.
We were asked to do some homework – ask people what 3 words describe me….I posted on Facebook and the Word Cloud below is what came out of those 3 words from people. THANK YOU to everyone who posted them. It
We worked on our Customers & Clients, making our Business Landscape map. We worked on our Marketing map, Moola Map, etc.
It was a FUN inspiring Weekend. Seeing the 6 in studio entrepreneurs work through their RBBP along with us was GREAT!
When we looked back at the Visual Collage we did on Friday, it was amazing how images and words were the perfect fit.
With our daughter, Carrie, (who is a freelance Graphic Artist) here visiting, I was able to do some brainstorming with her and it was perfect timing, as she gave me even more ideas to work on that I had looked at but didn’t give a second thought to….
So, my year is totally going to ROCK even more now and I hope YOU all will enjoy what will be coming from all this brainstorming and what this AWESOME workshop planted seeds for.
I highly encourage everyone to make time to take workshops to expand your creativity!!!
Learning is FUN & so EXPANDING!!!
