I don’t think I even had a name for this before except maybe Recycle ReUse #3 as I was into using up some of the odd bits I was accumulating in 2005.

The tree is threadwork on beige felt that was then melted with a heat gun.

There is chocolate bar wrapper, coffee bag, painted bounce, old jewellry pieces and even acryclic paint skin.

Dream Catcher

20 X 100 inches

This was made for the Straight & Narrow Challenge on

Quilt Art

Each of us has dreams. The dream catcher at the top is ready to catch our life dreams which are on puzzle pieces. Life is A puzzle.

Since this photo, I have added beading and another puzzle piece into the dream catcher part.  Because of how big it is, I haven’t been able to get a good photo of it.

Artful Little Purse

roughly 6 X 8 inches.

I am NOT a purse person, this is as far as I go carrying a purse.

Prairie Memories

Recalling stories from relatives, it was time to document some of those memories.  The blues show our beautiful sky, the yellows represents the grains on the prairies, & the brown around all the photos represents the soil.  The quilt ripples like our windy days of summer!
