Over the past couple years, I’ve been learning more and more about Procrastination and how it had been impacting my life. I knew I was doing it, but the real reason behind it all was still unclear.
In all the reading, all the courses I have been taking and the deep inner work I have been doing – I know now that most of the time it was “Fear of failure” that was causing my Procrastination. Fear is usually behind most people’s procrastinations.
YES, Fear of failure!
Failure – that the workshops I was producing wouldn’t be something others would be interested in, the blog posts wouldn’t get read, the artwork I created wouldn’t be bought or even looked at, etc.
When you have grown up in a family where no encourage was given, or the teachers in your life weren’t interested in that either, you tend to degrade yourself and if you do accomplish something, only YOU cares. Its been a life long journey to learning to not only LOVE yourself but to know that YOU are worthy, just like the rest of the world. That YOU have something to offer!
Learning how procrastination was impacting my daily life, has shown so many life lessons like the ones above.
So, how do we move past that fear of failure?
We start by doing do-able steps, listing your Top 3 Priorities everyday, or weeklyand know in your being that YOU are worth it! That YOU are here on earth for a reason!!!
One step at a time!
It need not be, once you learn why.

I just love how you shine your light for others, by teaching where you have come from and how from that place that has no doubt been quite challenging. You have created and continue to create the kingdom that you are in now which is shining brightly with all that you do and it especially shines through in all that you are!
You are a GOLD STAR and a vision of SUCCESS in my books! Thank you for this wonderful post and for sharing so well with all of us. xo
THANK YOU Suzanne – that was an AWESOME comment to see this morning. Made my week!!!
Yes! Me too! For me procrastination is a sign I’m fearful of something. Since I know that, it allows me to dig deeper. So in that sense it is actually a positive force in my life. It makes me more in tune with myself.
I also think that people who aren’t in tune with their intuition often procrastinate because something they’re doing is not right for them, but they’re not aware that’s what it’s all about.
That is for sure Carin – THANKS for posting!
