Here is another version of my Sketchbook Cover pattern……
I had a leftover piece of hand-dyed and partially painted fabric, so I decided to add more paint…..GOT MESSY!!! I used a square piece of cardstock as a guide, painted the gold Lumiere (Jacquard) off the edge of the cardstock and not worrying about perfection. I wanted to see what my new design for my “D” initial would look like painted on. I used Jacquard Ne Opaque fabric paint for the black paintings.
Once dry, I added the purple applique squares and quilted it all.
All fabrics are hand-dyed and/or painted by me.
