I promised a photo of my journal I have for my Notes & Inspirations.
The inside cover on these notebooks are thin paper, so I used the same cardboard as in the other post – from the SU scrapbooking paper packages, covered the front with the butterfly wallpaper border and the back with scrapbooking paper. I haven’t put a title on this journal yet, but have been thinking about it since I see it all the time on my sewing table….we’ll see what I come up with and when. Will photograph it again when its done!
The other journal I have near my work space in my studio……..my Card Sketches journal. I do a small sketch of whatever card
I receive or see online, plus any of the challenges that are out there on CPS, SCS, Amy’s blog, Beate’s blog or Taylor’s blog…..or the sketches on Di Hickman’s blog.
Then, when I need to make a card – if I have no idea of what I want to make, I flip thru this little journal and I make a check mark on the sketch and a little note if I make it for someone…..like the two cards I posted for my brother. I marked the sketch with the check mark, then his name and the year. So, next year, he won’t get the same card! LOL!!!
I had been using a large binder before, and always forgot to pull it out of my book shelf, this journal is 5″ X 7″ and I think its one Carrie found at Winners in Edmonton years ago.
