Planning for 2014

Have YOU starting planning your word & goals for 2014?

I have been working on 2014 plans for the past couple of months, between other things.

I am EXCITED for 2014 to start and look forward to the POSSIBILITIES!

I am still working on a word for 2014…..DreamsPlannerPage

My word for 2013 has been EMPOWER and I feel that it suited me very well. Whenever I started a workshop/program, I set the intention of that word.

I have been assessing my 2013 Goals and making a list of Goals for 2014.

When assessing my past year, some goals have been met with flying colours while others need to be worked on more thoroughly.

I forgive myself for not concentrating on them fully instead of beating myself up, which does no good whatsoever.

Goals, I thought were important, turned out not as important and I firmly believe that is why they were not met.

There are 6 elements of Goal Setting that I use:

  • Be Specific
  • Be Measurable
  • Be Realistic
  • Be Positive
  • Be Written Down
  • Be Action Orientated

Along with the above 6 elements, when planning for 2014, I also don’t go easy and set goals that are easily achieved. I want ones that make me push myself out of the comfort zone I’m in.

“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new…Brian Tracy”

So, in that vain, here are my 2014 Goals:

Embrace the exercise needed to bring down more weight. Changing to a total gluten-free diet has helped already but need to embrace the work needed for the rest.

Finish my book – concentrate on it, not just do a chapter here and there. FINISH IT!  I had wanted it to be finished by fall 2013, then I pushed it back to end of the year and now, I admit I left it as it scared the crap out of me.

Teach my workshops/programs exclusively within my Positively Creative Community.  So, I need to inform/educate my clients, customers & students that there really IS great  value in the Community.

EMPOWER women and show them how to work on their BIG Dreams, in the 2 Big Dreams Journaling Retreats I will have in 2014. Still think a spring one is do-able and also a fall one.

Hire a Virtual Assistant in 2014.

Do monthly Podcasts – Spreading Positive Creativity worldwide, with tips and interviews.

Send out Joint Venture letters in January with Program details for Positively Creative Journaling E-Book as the curriculum. This was one of my 2013 goals that is now fully embraced for 2014.

Break ground on my new Studio.

Finish the process for my Mobile APP.

Finish the Dale Anne Potter policy & procedure manual. Have been making all the notes in my business journal, now to put it all together for a VA and others to follow.

Write more guest blog posts and articles.

Do Weekly Art Dates with my Positively Creative Community.

Find a heart-centred lawyer for some Art Business procedures that need to be done.

Plan & do a video series about being Positively Creative.

Develop a “Coaching for Many” model and turn my 1-on-1 coaching into VIP days.

OK – that is what I have in my planner for 2014. Next it will be to set specific, measurable goals for each.

As I said before, its going to be a year of pushing me to a BIGGER more abundant place and some of these goals are really stretching me – making me scared as hell, but that’s OK!  I am ready!!!

GO BIG or go home!!!
