  2. You go girl! This is a super fantastic idea! I’m sending positive thoughts your way. I hope you post the progress on your blog. If you can dream it you can make it happen! :-)

    • THANKS Melody for your support. I just wish the Town council would think it was a good idea. Trying to get letters of support sent to them to stop the demolition right now (that’s the first step) & then see where to go from there.

  3. awesome idea!!! so where do we start and who do we talk to!!!

    • THANKS Jill! I’m trying to figure out the next steps. Had to take time away from everything yesterday & so will be contacting you when I have something ready. First thing I’d ask is a letter sent to the Town Council with support for the proposal of the purchase. The town has asked the school division to go for demolition so have to get that stopped.

I think that is a good start. What about a “hook” to draw people in? Write it in a way that embraces the town people. Draw a picture with words of how it would benefit the children, adults, and old people in town. Write about community spirit and pride. It needs to be written like of like a good ad or campaign piece. Words have power. Go door to door for support if necessary. Get the people behind you. I know…it is very hard work.
