This week my neighbour was getting ready for a Garage Sale…..she brought me these Vintage GOODIES!!! Silly woman asking if they were something I might be interested in – OF COURSE!!! These are like hitting the JACKPOT! All kinds of different laces & trims. The spools of threads, will be sorted – I have a lamp jar to fill and the rest might be put into another old jar for colour inspiration in my studio! I don’t use the old threads as thread does get old and breaks.

I love getting stuff from other people. Such interesting things. I use ‘odd’ thread for basting. That way it gets used up. How about couching , if it is colourful, in between some washable/fusible interfacing?
