Here is a list of the workshops I teach regularly. I am willing to set up a workshop just for your group! I will be adding more as they are developed. Workshop supply lists are pdf files, if you click on the workshop, you can download the supply list. Please email for an available date.
Positive Thinking Workshop- 52 Weeks (one lesson a week)…..
I have developed a Journaling workshop – totally via email, that will get YOU working on POSITIVE THINKING Everyday. A Journaling workshop that will take you from those above feelings to a HAPPIER life. Its a Journaling workshop for a whole year. YES, once a week you will get an email that will force you to think only of YOU! 10 minutes to 1/2 hour a week just for YOU!
How would YOU like to take a journal, glue, pen, paint and scissors to work your way to living a POSITIVE life? No ART experience necessary, you will learn some techniques that are basic Journaling techniques during the Weekly emails that will help YOU journal the POSITIVE into your life.

Inspiring Fabric ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) 
In this mini workshop, you will learn all about Artist Trading Cards. The ATCs will be FUN & creative! You will need only your sewing machine, sewing supplies & a scissors. All other supplies are included in the workshop.

Fabric Postcard Workshop – 6 hours
In this workshop, you will turn fabric scraps into landscape, abstract or collage works of art that you can send in the mail to friends or family. You will learn different finishes for the edges and will, also, be shown how to add paper.

The Wonderful World of Hand Applique – 3 hours
In this workshop, we cover reverse applique, needle turn applique and freezer paper applique. This workshop will have a small project for you to complete. No experience necessary and minimal tools needed.

Surface Design Smorg – 6 hours
Are YOU just getting into fabric art? Or are you at a standstill and want to try out some NEW techniques? Then, this is the class for you! Techniques we will cover include printing with household tools, stamp carving, foiling, photo transfer, making paper into fabric, chiffon layering – to name just some of the techniques. We will create a little sample book for you to refer to in the future.

Bindings & Edges for Your Art Quilts – 3 hours
Tired of the same old bindings & edges on your art quilts? This workshop will give you a sampler of different binding & edge treatments for you to add to your art quilts. We will cover facing an art quilt, couching, exploring several different embroidery stitches, adding beading and many more.

Free Motion Quilting Workshop – 6 hours
In this workshop, you will become one with your sewing machine and be Free Motion Quilting without stress. This class will cover all the basics of Free Motion Quilting – from basic meandering to making your own designs while you quilt.

Mixed Media: The Basics & Beyond – 2 Days
We will take an older book, and PLAY with different techniques. This is a process workshop in which we will create backgrounds, borders, collaged images, experiment with monoprinting, image transfer, water soluble crayons, stencil, stamping, gel pens, different papers, various inks and gel medium. Each student will leave the class with many journal pages filled with new techniques and inspiration. These techniques will give you inspiration for your own cards, scrapbook pages, fabric paintings or your own artist journal.

Soy Wax Batik with Paint – 6 hours
Soy wax is an ecologically safe medium resist and can be washed out with hot soapy water! In this workshop, students will explore many different ways to batik using fabric paints. You create FABULOUS textural and unique fabrics using various tools – brushes, a tjanting tool, everyday household items and/or items found at a thrift store.

Quilted Sketchbook - Online & Self Paced
Using your own hand-dyed fabrics or batiks, we will quilt, embroider, & bead a cover for your sketchbook. We will make the cover, then do a simple book binding technique to make 3 signatures inside using Mixed Media paper (so you can paint on the pages if you’d like).
